Registration
Visit the official website (bitsadmission.com) and register with a valid email ID and mobile number.
Fill Application Form
Enter personal, academic, and contact details. Choose your preferred exam centers.
Upload Documents
Upload scanned photograph (4KB to 100KB) and signature (1KB to 50KB) in JPG/JPEG format.
Pay Application Fee
Fee is approx ₹3400 (Male) / ₹2900 (Female) for a single session. For both sessions, it is higher. Pay via Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI.
Slot Booking
Reserve your preferred exam date and time slot through the slot booking system when it opens. It is first-come-first-serve.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent.
- Must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects. (PCB for B.Pharm).
- Minimum 75% aggregate marks in PCM/PCB subjects in 12th examination.
- Minimum 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology individually.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Students potentially appearing for 12th exams in 2026 are also eligible.
About BITSAT 2026
BITSAT is conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani - an all-India Institute for higher education ranked among the top engineering institutions in India. BITS Pilani was established in 1964 by the late Mr. G.D. Birla and is now an Institute of Eminence. BITSAT is unique because it's one of the few exams in India that follows a strict merit-based admission policy with absolutely no reservation based on caste, category, or region. The exam has two sessions giving candidates two attempts, and bonus questions for those who finish early.

Counselling Process
Admission is purely merit-based on the BITSAT score. After the exam, there are multiple rounds of seat allotment called 'Iterations'. Candidates must fill their preference order for Campuses (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad) and Branches carefully. There is no reservation policy (except for BITS Dubai which has its own process). Direct admission is offered to Board Toppers.

Q. Can I appear for both sessions?
Yes, candidates can appear for both Session 1 and Session 2. The best of the two scores will be considered for admission.
Q. Is there any reservation in BITS?
No, BITS Pilani does not follow any reservation policy based on caste or category. Admissions are strictly based on merit.
Q. What is a good score in BITSAT?
A score above 300 is generally considered safe for top branches like CSE/ECE in any of the three campuses. For Pilani CSE, 330+ is typically required.
Q. Is there a negative marking?
Yes, 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.
Q. Are there bonus questions?
Yes, if a candidate answers all 130 questions, they can attempt 12 bonus questions for extra marks. Once you start bonus questions, you cannot go back to the main paper.
