Independent Akash Talks guidance. Official application, admission and fee decisions belong to the institution. How we verify information
What you are choosing
AI-focused computing and mathematical study. This guide helps you inspect a specific course offer; it does not imply that every IEM or UEM campus teaches this programme.
Curriculum questions
Ask whether the award is CSE with AI or a separately named AI degree. Compare search, reasoning, learning, programming and mathematics modules in the approved curriculum.
Important comparison
The official engineering site lists AI among New Town specialisations. Verify the exact campus and degree title on your offer.
Admission and cost checks
Use the current programme-specific eligibility row, entrance route and official campus listing. Request the semester fee schedule, living costs and any course-specific equipment or training charges. A future batch needs its own written offer.
Take this to counselling
Bring your marksheets, prior qualification if relevant, score and a shortlist of alternatives to Artificial Intelligence. Ask for the exact degree name, campus, joining year and curriculum document before deciding.
Kolkata 2026 table: a dated reference
This row comes from the UEM Kolkata 2026 batch table, not a universal offer at all campuses or for 2027. X/XII means Class 10/Class 12. Confirm the exact programme, subjects and current eligibility in writing.
| Field | Displayed 2026 reference |
|---|---|
| X / XII / other minimum | 70% / 70%; PCM 50% |
| Listed route | IEMJEE |
| Displayed programme total | ₹9,45,000 |
