Locate the exact programme

The central portal lists BBA at Salt Lake and management options at Jaipur. The available title may be general BBA or a separately named offering. Verify the teaching campus, university and specialisation on the offer. Do not transfer the Kolkata total or degree structure to a Jaipur option without its own notice.

The Kolkata 2026 BBA/BCA row gives X 60%, XII 60% and a two-year gap provision, and describes four years. The BCA-specific school-subject clause should not be presented as a verified BBA requirement. Confirm your exact BBA award and the current calculation method before interpreting the marks thresholds.

Inspect the teaching environment

Inspect accounting, economics, quantitative methods, marketing, organisational topics, operations and business-project assessment. Ask where students practise spreadsheet analysis, research and clear written recommendations. Compare internships by tasks and supervision rather than duration alone. Confirm the current degree structure and any honours or exit conditions with the university.

Verify access through a practical task

Analyse a small fictional business using a transparent sales table, a cost model and a limited budget. Explain the assumptions behind a marketing or inventory decision and test how the result changes if demand is lower. Present one recommendation with its risks. This is an independent learning exercise, not a forecast for an actual company.

Ask whether business simulations, field research, industrial visits and internship travel add compulsory costs. Separate optional certifications from tuition and confirm the full four-year schedule where that is the offered structure. A placement-preparation package should explain its actual content. Keep any scholarship estimate outside the base budget until the award and renewal conditions are written.

Read the offer as a record

For the BBA offer, place the full institution name, university, programme title, entry route, batch and teaching address on one sheet. Compare them with the official course listing and fee document. Ask which office resolves discrepancies and keep the written answer. A group admission office may coordinate applications without being the place where every class or practical is held.

Record what the visit establishes

A BBA campus visit can confirm what you observed and the questions staff answered on that date. It cannot establish access for a later batch, an unannounced specialisation or future placements. Record laboratory opening rules, individual assessment and travel between facilities. Use the observations to decide whether the environment supports the learning tasks you actually want to complete.
