Choose the correct course before using the shared portal

IEMJEE is the B.Tech route on the central notice; IEMCET covers the listed non-B.Tech courses. Both use the group examination portal. This guide covers the shared task once, while eligibility, syllabus and course-specific counselling requirements must still match the programme on your application.

Before the discussion

Bring your entrance result, school or prior degree marks, exact programme preference and budget. List acceptable alternatives in advance, including the campus and specialisation.

Questions to resolve

Confirm course availability, awarding university, admission route, tuition schedule, scholarship conditions, hostel arrangements and refund deadlines. Ask which documents are still needed for final eligibility.

Confirm the actual seat

Retain the official allotment or offer and payment receipt. Independent counselling supports a decision; it cannot override the institution’s eligibility rules or guarantee admission. Do not treat a verbal reservation as a final allotment.
