Independent Akash Talks guidance. Official application, admission and fee decisions belong to the institution. How we verify information
Read the programme row
This worksheet uses the published 2026 Kolkata reference for CSE with IoT, Cyber Security and Blockchain: 60% / 60%; PCM 45%. The listed route is IEMJEE. It does not confirm a current seat or an offer at every IEM/UEM campus. Record your intended intake separately so historical evidence does not become a future-batch eligibility promise.
The Kolkata 2026 grouped entry uses the abbreviated IoT CS BCT label at X 60%, XII 60% and PCM 45%. Obtain the full degree wording on the offer and ask which official row applies. A counsellor mentioning only Cyber Security has not necessarily identified this combined programme.
Match your academic evidence
Create a CSE with IoT, Cyber Security and Blockchain evidence sheet with the qualification name, board or university, examination year, subject-wise marks and the exact programme requested. Keep original marksheets separate from any self-calculated aggregate. If the form uses a different subject abbreviation, preserve both wordings and ask for a written mapping. A verbal assurance is not the same as an eligibility decision.
Identify preparation gaps
A combined IoT, Cyber Security and Blockchain programme asks you to connect devices, security decisions and distributed records. The useful question is whether the course builds depth across those interfaces. Test your interest in both physical-system reliability and software trust assumptions. A long title alone cannot establish that each field receives substantial teaching time.
Inspect how embedded systems, networks, security and distributed-ledger topics fit around algorithms, operating systems and databases. Ask which modules are compulsory and how prerequisites are sequenced. Look for assessment that explains when a ledger is unnecessary as well as when it helps. Compare complete project requirements rather than counting specialisation keywords.
Resolve the outstanding condition
The current engineering listing places the combined IoT, Cyber Security and Blockchain option at New Town. Ask which department coordinates the different laboratory components and where project supervision occurs. Availability of a plain IoT or security programme elsewhere does not prove this exact combined award is offered there.
Before accepting the CSE with IoT, Cyber Security and Blockchain offer, record each unresolved condition as a specific question with the supporting document. Separate marks eligibility, accepted entrance route and final document verification. Save the dated official response with your application record. This produces a usable checklist even when an institutional page contains an older or conflicting block.
