The scope of this checklist
The IEMCET university page recommends WB JECA preparation for MCA. JECA’s 2026 bulletin lists undergraduate computer-applications topics. This is a JECA-based study checklist, not a separately verified detailed IEMCET paper blueprint.
Programming and data structures
Review C, object-oriented programming and data structures from the official JECA list. Practise tracing code, explaining operations and choosing suitable data structures. Check what the current syllabus includes before adding unrelated advanced topics.
Systems and information
The listed topics include Unix, computer fundamentals, operating systems, networks, databases and software engineering. Organise revision by concept and use previous official papers to identify gaps.
Machine learning and review
Machine learning is also listed in the bulletin. Follow the prescribed level and topic wording. Keep an error log across all topics and revisit weak areas after timed practice.
Verify route and institution
The bulletin lists IEM Salt Lake in its institution modules for 2026. Do not extrapolate that to all group campuses or to 2027 availability. Confirm the current route, qualification and matrix separately from your study plan.
