Historical engineering pattern
The central notice describes 90 questions across Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics following the JEE Main pattern. It lists an online duration of two hours and an offline duration of three hours. These are reference details from the displayed cycle.
Marking needs its own check
The university IEMJEE page describes 30 questions per subject, four marks for a correct answer and minus one for an incorrect answer. Check the actual paper instructions before using that scheme for the next cycle.
Practise for the mode you select
Practise timed mixed-subject sets and track accuracy as well as attempts. If negative marking applies, use a deliberate attempt strategy based on confidence rather than maximising attempted questions at any cost.
No invented next-cycle certainty
A previous pattern is useful for preparation but does not establish the next exam’s timing or scoring. The hall ticket and current official examination instructions take precedence.
