UEM Kolkata: courses, campus and admission checks

Confirm the campus on the offer

UEM Kolkata is the campus or university you are comparing here. The location to verify is New Town, Action Area III, Kolkata. Ask for the full legal institution name, programme title, teaching address and awarding university before comparing it with another IEM–UEM offer.

New Town and the Kolkata admission table

The engineering site lists AI, IoT, IoT/Cyber Security/Blockchain, Cyber Security, Data Science, AI & DS and Biotechnology at New Town. Verify the exact degree title on the offer.

The Kolkata 2026 table distinguishes school-mark thresholds across programmes: CSE is listed at 80% in X and XII, AIML at 75% with PCM 50%, and several other specialisations at 60% with PCM 45%. These are dated references; they do not establish universal future-batch eligibility.

Course availability comes first

Check the campus programme list before applying. A group-wide list of specialisations does not establish availability at this location. Course names such as CSE, CSE with AI and AI & DS must match the written seat offer.

Read the current admission notice

Use the central exam portal to distinguish IEMJEE from IEMCET, then confirm campus and programme eligibility with the official admissions office. Keep any published marks thresholds and required subjects alongside the programme name.

Build your campus comparison

Record tuition, accommodation, mess, deposits and travel separately. Ask whether teaching and laboratories are in the same place and whether a shuttle is needed.

For affiliation, rely on current university and institution documents. An old certificate or previous batch discussion may describe a different admission arrangement.
