IEM and UEM campus visit checklist

Visit the teaching building

An admissions office visit may not show where classes and laboratories occur. Ask for the building used by your programme and year.

Ask programme-specific questions

Check laboratory access, software, project work, electives and timetables for the course you are considering. A general campus tour cannot answer every specialisation question.

Test a normal weekday

Try the commute at class time, check food options and inspect the accommodation if offered. Ask current students about workload, attendance and support with their consent.

Compare notes after the visit

Separate observed facts, official written statements and student opinions. Use the same checklist at each campus so a polished presentation does not dominate the decision.
