Identify the accommodation

Ask whether the residence is institution-managed or private, its address, room occupancy and distance from your teaching building. A generic hostel range may refer to a different provider.

Separate recurring and one-time costs

Record rent, mess, electricity, laundry, internet and transport separately from security deposits, booking fees and other one-time charges. Note refundability and the billing period.

Check the rules

Ask about contract length, vacation charges, visitor and timing rules, meal arrangements, safety contacts and notice periods. Compare the written terms with your daily schedule.

Use a budget range

Get current quotations and compare a lower and higher monthly living-cost scenario. The tuition table alone is not a complete attendance budget. No unverified hostel price is asserted here.
