College fee refund checklist for IEM and UEM applicants

Get the applicable document

Ask the institution which refund policy applies to your programme, intake and payment type. A booking payment, tuition instalment and independent counselling fee may have different terms.

Record dates precisely

Write down the withdrawal deadline, the required submission channel and the date from which deductions change. Save the policy version alongside your receipt.

Keep withdrawal evidence

Use the official process, retain an acknowledgement and keep copies of the request, payment record and any written decision. A phone call alone may leave no evidence of timely submission.

Resolve ambiguity before payment

Ask whether hostel, deposits and other charges follow separate terms. This is a planning checklist; the official policy and applicable rules govern the actual refund.
